Everything is crazy for all of us but Christmas is on the horizon. Christmas under the Southern Cross is a warm summer night, bbq, perhaps the beach, but most of all it’s family, friends and enjoying each other’s company.

from Aly .. “When I look at this video it reminds me of the life before Covid as this was first released,  the last Christmas before all this craziness. No matter what I hope you have a great Christmas no matter if family and friends can be with you or not.. Love is the opposite of fear “

The lyrics for ‘Southern Christmas Stars’ were written by Kay Bidstrup to celebrate the Christmas homecoming of her son, after a year living abroad, and Buzz Bidstrup and Aly Cook put the music together while the Kiwi singer was in Australia promoting her latest album ‘Caught in the Middle’. The trio have been very productive together penning nearly all the songs on the record & more.

Southern Christmas Stars’ is for those living in the Southern Hemisphere, with not a hint of snow or reindeer, and features some classy guitar work by Dean Ray.
